Antoni John - 46993

Born on 14^th June 1905 in Wasrzawa, Antoni John trained as a fitter. By the age of 37 he had arrived at Auschwitz, where he was held in the Prisoners Hospital Block 20 in Auschwitz 1, which was the ward especially for contagious diseases such as typhus, tuberculosis or meningitis. However, from records, it is clear that Antoni John did not die of these diseases, but was murdered on 5^th September 1942.
